Thebu Leaves

Our Organic Thebu (Creeping Spiral Ginger) leaves bunch consists of fresh, pesticide-free greens that are highly valued in Sri Lankan Ayurveda for their profound impact on metabolic health. Known colloquially as the "Insulin Plant," Thebu leaves are rich in compounds like corosolic acid and diosgenin, making them an essential traditional remedy for naturally regulating blood sugar levels and supporting insulin function. When prepared as a revitalizing Kenda (porridge), these nutrient-dense leaves act as a powerful tonic to detoxify the liver, aid digestion, and promote overall vitality and wellness.
